Majestic fly

Swati Singh

Majestic fly

Of azure tapestry blue

Sings the victorious glow

On the walls of Gwalior fort

Picturesque view

Captured my heart lew

Spell bound I packed food few

To spend a moments in que.

Far on the hills

In between the fills

Strong foundation rest

Mounted with ode that cast

I decided to mount

The hill on my heart count

Every step I took

I filled my memory book

On the height

As to catch the sol

It stands firm

On the crown of soul.

Up there, in elegant fare

Just to be with love share

Crowd gathered

Forgetting the emence grace.

Past cavort around

The ruines of present

Every carved line sings

Unforgettable fab lure.

Ups and downs

So many centuries found

Elegent sound unbound

Enchants the crowd around.

I took a walk

To visualize the care

Thy showered in piles

For decades in layer

Lost the gems

Crown still shines

Above the battle lost

For the shrine

Dignity still cries

Behind  the walls

Flick of light hides

In the darkest sight

Bawadi though dry

Lash with the stairs fly

Imprints the steps

They took to wet.

After long day

In the company of bey

I decend home way

Filled with memories so gey.

Swati Singh

Swati is one of the vanguards of poetry nicely blended in 18th-century romanticism and Victorian era fervor of values. Her deep emphasis and love for nature and the supernatural world thrive in an age when post-modernism and post-truth are the prevalent literary and academic discourses. She creates a wide range of splendid and beautiful verses in English and in Hindi encompassed around the human mind, his emotions, and his connection with nature.
